Let Us Gather Before Him

This book of music is intended to help teachers, children and the parish community to prepare for the children’s first Holy Communion Mass. It can be difficult to find music that is both attractive to young people and acceptable to the older members of the community. This collection seeks to bridge that gap and contains liturgical music from the Grow in Love/I nGrá Dé series that will appeal to all ages.

It also includes the Mass of Renewal by Bernard Sexton, which is already widely used throughout the country. Let Us Gather Before Him should prove to be a valuable resource for parishes and schools as they endeavour to foster the role of music in the liturgy.

About the Editor:
Bernard Sexton is an Irish composer who has been working in the area of sacred and choral music for the past twenty-five years. He is music director for the new primary school religious education programme, Grow in Love.
