About the Author:
Rebekah Eklund, THD, teaches Christian Scripture, theology, and ethics at Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore. Her doctorate in New Testament is from Duke Divinity School in Durham, North Carolina. She is the author of The Beatitudes through the Ages (Eerdmans, 2021), Practicing Lament (Wipf & Stock, 2021), and Jesus Wept: The Significance of Jesus’ Laments in the New Testament (T&T Clark, 2015). Michael R. Simone, SJ, is a Jesuit of the USA Midwest Province and has a PhD in Hebrew Bible/Semitic Languages from Johns Hopkins University. He is the author of the commentary on Judges for the Paulist Biblical Commentary and a commentary on the Book of Nahum for the fully revised Jerome Biblical Commentary.
