Her latest publication from Veritas Publications Waiting in Mindful Hope explores the transformative power of mindfulness with a particular emphasis on how readers can cultivate a consoling sense of hope in their lives, particularly during times of transition or change.
Divided into three parts entitled ‘Waiting’, ‘Mindfulness’ and ‘Hope’, the overall effect is one of personal meditation with a profound emphasis on an awareness of God in the present moment. The author suggests that much of what tires us in life isn’t our workload but the constant busyness of our minds and her goal through using this book is to help the reader break free of that ‘exhausting and incessant mental activity’ and enjoy a spiritual steadiness during times of change. An attractively presented, almost pocket-sized volume and a particularly valuable resource for our often frantic times.
