Each year, from 1 September to 4 October, the Christian family comes together to celebrate the Season of Creation, a global time of prayer and action dedicated to caring for our common home. This special season, inspired by Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si', calls on all Christians to reflect on the beauty of God's creation and respond to the urgent environmental challenges of our time, such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. The theme for the 2024 Season of Creation, ‘To Hope and Act with Creation’, encourages us to unite faith with practical steps through prayer, preaching, service, and solidarity.
