Growing up in a wonderful parish and Catholic grade school, I often remember the pastor and the sisters telling us that The feasts and seasons of the Church year are the best teacher of faith we have. Monsignor Kellys helpful and rewarding book shows the wisdom of that childhood lesson.

    - Most Reverend Timothy M. Dolan, Archbishop of New York

In this important collection of spiritual reflections, Monsignor Francis Kelly provides a valuable resource whereby we can establish or further develop a sense of the sacred in our lives. In the face of the increasingly hectic pace of daily life we need a prompting to help us pause and rediscover the presence of the Lord. Through the Church Year: Reflections for Feasts and Seasons provides such help for us, through an engaging and accessible guide for the liturgical seasons and the major solemnities and feast days of the saints. We are blessed to have such a helpful resource available to us. I highly recommend this book to all who seek to live their faith more fully and gain greater insight into the beauty of the Church.
