In a world that is always online and in touch, relationships seem to be breaking down all around us. We need real connection to each other more than ever, and yet it is further out of reach than ever. The Benedictine monk, poet and theologian Sebastian Moore, one of the church's most exciting and uninhibited voices, shows us how we can find a stable centre within ourselves, and still be part of a meaningful, loving community.
Sebastian Moore OSB is a monk of Downside Abbey and the author of several celebrated books including The Crucified Jesus Is No Stranger and The Fire and the Rose Are One. His previous book, The Contagion of Jesus, published to mark his 90th birthday, is one of the most widely discussed new work of theology published in recent years and was short-listed for the Michael Ramsey Prize.
