The Céifin Centre
The Céifin Centre was founded by Fr. Harry Bohan in 1998. It evolved from practical experience of developing communities across Ireland in an effort to counter the growth of cities. The aim of the centre is to generate capacity for debate on social change issues. It does this through facilitating conferences, lectures, workshops and research programmes. Céifin publications are availble from Veritas bookshops nationwide.

International Eucharistic Congress
The 50th International Eucharistic Congress 2012 will take place in Dublin from June 10th to 17th 2012 under the theme “The Eucharist: Communion with Christ and with one another”, and expects up to 80,000 pilgrims from all over the world to participate. It is an international gathering of people, every four years somewhere in the world, which aims to promote an awareness of the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Catholic Church; help improve our understanding and celebration of the liturgy and draw attention to the social dimension of the Eucharist. These aims are achieved through a programme of pastoral preparation in the years leading up to the Congress and a programme of liturgical and cultural events, lectures and workshops over the course of one week.

Between Memory and Hope has been conceived as a vessel to launch us out into the deep while remembering our port of origin. It has a twofold sense of taking the best of the past in the Church and looking to how we can be more effective in the future. It situates us as the Eucharistic connection-makers between a rich Christian past and a challenging contemporary world.
