  • Worry and stress are part of life – and may even help spur us into activity! High levels of both are however counter-productive, and all too common. Some people may be so incapacitated by worry that normal living becomes impossible; for example, they may refuse to drive the car in case they crash. This book looks at what to do when worry and stress get out of hand. It includes advice on accepting uncertainty, problem-solving skills, including prioritising and time management, exercise, diet, relaxation and breathing, treatment, medication and support groups.
