CSPA - Catholic Schools Parent Associations
Is the national organisation of Parents Councils/Associations which have been established in Catholic Schools at second level. Its objectives are to support the rights of parents to be involved and consulted in the education of their children; to promote the continuous existence of Voluntary Catholic Secondary Schools; and to promote a holistic approach to education.
CEIST is the trustee body for the voluntary secondary schools of the Daughters of Charity, the Presentation Sisters, the Sisters of the Christian Retreat, the Sisters of Mercy, and the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart. The mission of CEIST is "To provide a holistic education in the Catholic tradition". Faith Connect is an exciting new project that aims to involve teens in the process of religious education using an online medium. It is a joint initiative between Veritas and the Mater Dei Institute of Education.
